Connected with Virginia Baptists? Going on mission? Raising funds?  Find out about our scholarships. Any college student who is affiliated with a Virginia Baptist ministry and serving on a mission trip can easily receive a $50 scholarship by having a Virginia Baptist minister email a completed reference form to Susan McBride. Have a greater financial need?  Fill out this scholarship application to be considered for a need-based scholarship. Amount given will vary on the need and number of applicants.

Student Missions: Around the United States

 

Virginia Baptists are in partnership with a variety of ministries from Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota to the Baptist Joint Committee in Washington, DC. 

• Standing Rock Reservation
  The mission partnership that started in 2009 between WMUV, RVBA, and Pastor Boots Marsh of the Standing Rock Reservation has truly been a hand-in-hand, heart-to-heart effort to bring hope to Native Americans living in the Dakotas.
  
  
  
• Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty
  Primarily an education and advocacy organization, the Baptist Joint Committee is a leading voice in Washington, DC, fighting to uphold the historic Baptist principle of religious freedom. It stands guard at the intersection of church and state, defending the first freedom of the First Amendment.
